Aus Tin Mining is an Australian-based exploration and tin production company focused on the development of the Taronga Tin Project and discovery and development of tin and nickel-cobalt mineral deposits. Aus Tin commenced tin concentrate production at the Granville Project in August, 2016.
Currently producing tin concentrate at the Granville Project, Tasmania. All tin concentrate is sold to Traxys as part of a two-year Off-take Agreement. The Company is planning to utilise the cash-flow from the Granville operations to assist with the continued development of the Taronga Tin Project.
Aus Tin owns 100% of the world class Taronga Tin Project located in the historic New England tin fields in northern NSW. In April 2014, Aus Tin Mining completed a Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) confirming the technical and economic viability of the Taronga Tin Project, and highlighting a number of areas of project upside. Aus Tin also holds a portfolio of exploration tenement adjacent to the Taronga Tin Project which are prospective for tin, base and precious metals. Lithium bearing mica mineral zinnwaldite has been identified at three different locations within the Taronga and Torrington historic mining tenements.
Aus Tin Mining also holds a 100% interest a number of exploration tenements prospective for nickel sulphide, including EPM19366 (Kilkivan Project) and EPM17768 (Marlborough Project) in Queensland, EL50/2011 (Heazelwood Project) in North West Tasmania.
